Activate the Collective Power of the Labor Movement
I will work to ignite unity, foster powerful alliances, and champion community engagement, harnessing collective strength for transformative action and a brighter, more equitable future for all workers.
What Is This All About?
United We Thrive: Empowering the Labor Movement for a Stronger Tomorrow

My vision to activate the collective power of the labor movement encompasses a multi-faceted approach designed to unite, empower, and extend our reach. By forging strong alliances with other unions and labor organizations, we aim to bolster our collective bargaining power through shared initiatives, solidarity campaigns, and mutual support, thereby amplifying our collective voice. Beyond the confines of the workplace, we’re committed to expanding our influence through community outreach programs, engaging local communities, building partnerships, and advocating for labor-friendly policies to create a broader societal impact. Furthermore, I’m dedicated to empowering our members with training on the significance of collective action, educating them on the legal nuances of the Railway Labor Act, and harnessing the power of unity to negotiate better contracts and foster a stronger management-union partnership. This holistic strategy not only strengthens our position but also aligns with our mission to champion the rights and well-being of our members at every level.

Stay Connected
Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. This is the spirit we need to embrace within the labor movement for true progress.

By leveraging the synergy of collaboration and community outreach, she envisions a labor movement that not only negotiates from a position of power but also educates and uplifts at every turn. Corliss believes that through collective action and shared knowledge, we can overcome the barriers that have historically divided us, forging a path to a more inclusive, fair, and resilient future for all members. This vision for progress is rooted in the understanding that together, we are stronger, more adaptable, and capable of enacting the change we wish to see in the world.

It would be beneficial to expand union impact with community outreach, forging partnerships and advocating for labor-friendly policies.
